The Axis Power was made up of three countries Germany, Japan and Italy. There were little parts of the axis that did not really play a big part of the war and those countries were hungry, romania, bulgaria. The main reason why they created the Axis was because they thought they were better then everyone and had to show the world there true power. Germany also wanted to get back some of it's land that they lost in the first world war.
